Site 115 is a backcountry campsite within Everglades National Park, part of the numbered network that guides paddlers along the park's most remote water trails. These sites are the final destination for kayakers completing challenging multi-day routes, and they offer a sense of accomplishment that only comes from moving through wilderness under your own power.
The Everglades backcountry is a protected environment shared with crocodiles, manatees, bottlenose dolphins, and hundreds of bird species. Responsible camping here means leaving no trace and treating the ecosystem with the same care that has kept it intact for generations. Permits are required through the National Park Service.
