Waypoint 15 is a numbered marker along one of the Everglades' designated wildlife observation routes, placed where visitors can pause and scan the surrounding sawgrass prairie and open water. These stops are designed to slow down the experience and reward patience — herons, anhingas, and turtles are frequent companions.
Bringing binoculars makes the most of any numbered stop in the Everglades. The flat terrain opens up wide sky views, and the stillness between markers is often where the most memorable wildlife moments occur.
