Pubbelly Noodle Bar

Share: f 𝕏

Pubbelly Noodle Bar pioneered the Asian gastropub concept in Miami when chef José Mendín opened its doors on a quiet block of 20th Street in South Beach. Part of the acclaimed Pubbelly family of restaurants, this intimate space with loft ceilings and exposed brick walls became a cult favorite almost immediately, earning praise for its fearless fusion of Latin and Asian flavors in small-plate format paired with craft beer and thoughtful wine selections.

The menu is built around bold, pork-centric flavor profiles that refuse to be pigeonholed. The signature Pubbelly Ramen features a deeply flavored lemongrass broth with pork belly and bean sprouts, while the inventive Mofongo Ramen fuses Puerto Rican plantain traditions with Japanese noodle craft. Standout small plates, inventive dumplings, and regularly rotating specials keep regulars coming back. The twin sister restaurant, Pubbelly Sushi, sits next door and shares a connecting passage so you can graze across both menus.

Happy hour runs daily from 6–7 PM and again late-night Sunday through Thursday, making it an excellent value entry point for South Beach dining. The vibe is relaxed and unpretentious — a welcome counterpoint to the glittery excess of nearby Ocean Drive. Cash and credit both accepted; reservations recommended for weekends.
