Reticulated Giraffe

The Reticulated Giraffe exhibit at this Richmond West wildlife attraction is almost certainly one of the most striking encounters available at the entire destination. As the tallest living terrestrial animal on earth, giraffes command attention the moment they come into view — their height, their unhurried grace, and the bold geometric pattern of the reticulated subspecies making them impossible to overlook. The Reticulated Giraffe, distinguished by its large, clearly defined patches separated by white lines, is native to northeastern Africa and is considered a vulnerable species. Seeing one up close — and potentially feeding one if the facility allows — is one of those wildlife experiences that stays with visitors long after they leave.
